Articles by industry

One article per trade: what actually gets stuck in your business, and what is particular to your sector.

The other four categories file articles by subject — the web, advertising, the brand, infrastructure. This one files them by trade, because what blocks a travel agency is not a web problem or an advertising problem: it is both at once, for one specific reader.

Each article starts from a constraint the sector knows and the others do not — the deposit taken before a departure, the photograph that decides a visit, the quote that commits you for twelve months, the stock that spoils. The technical part comes afterwards, and only as far as it settles that constraint.

You will therefore find apparent repetition with the other categories, and it is intended. The same mechanism does not have the same consequences whether it serves a medical practice bound by confidentiality or a supermarket selling fresh produce, and that translation is what is written here.

Frequently asked questions

My sector is not on the list — what should I read?

The "other industries" article, written for exactly that case: it explains how to decide when no sector model applies. Neighbouring articles often transpose — tell us your trade and we will tell you which ones to read.

Do these articles repeat the other categories?

On mechanisms, yes, and deliberately. On consequences, no: the same backup rule does not translate the same way for a notary and for a restaurant, and that translation is what makes the article.

Are the figures quoted specific to my sector in Algeria?

Rarely, and it is stated every time. Few Algerian sector statistics are published with a date; where none exists we say so, and we do not invent one.
