Online advertising
TikTok advertising
The cheapest attention in the Algerian market, provided you accept a format that does not look like advertising.
TikTok currently offers, in Algeria, the lowest cost of attention of any platform, on a young and fast-growing audience. That is a real advantage, and it will not last: costs rise everywhere as advertisers arrive.
The trade-off is a demanding format. An ad that looks like an ad is ignored in a fraction of a second. What works here is vertical video, filmed simply, showing the product in real use rather than in a studio — the exact opposite of what most businesses already have in stock.
That means production is the real budget. Not expensive production, but continuous production: creative wears out fast, and a campaign running for three months on one video sees its cost rise for no other reason.
The platform suits anything that can be demonstrated in seconds and bought without long deliberation. For a long buying cycle or a sale resting on institutional trust, it delivers awareness rather than enquiries, and it has to be budgeted as such.
What we usually find
- Your advertising costs are rising on the platforms you already use.
- Your customers are under thirty and you are not where they are.
- Your videos are horizontal, shot in a studio, and work nowhere.
- Your competitors appear in recommendations and you never do.
What changes
A low cost of attention
You reach a lot of people on a budget that would buy a fraction of that reach elsewhere.
An audience you did not have
A young public your current channels cover poorly, and one that decides quickly when a product speaks to them.
Reusable creative
The vertical video produced here also works as stories and short formats on the other platforms.
What you get
Native vertical video
Shot for the format, not cropped from a horizontal file, which shows immediately.
Continuous production
A regular flow of creative, because a single video wears out within weeks.
Targeting and exclusions
Interests, areas and behaviours, with the exclusions that avoid paying for an audience outside your reach.
Conversion measurement
Tracking installed on the site and in messaging, to compare honestly against the other channels’ costs.
Rapid format testing
Several approaches launched in parallel on small budgets, stopped quickly on the data.
Content reuse
What works feeds your organic account and your other platforms.
How we work
Assess the fit
We check that your product shows in seconds and gets bought without long deliberation.
Design for the format
Vertical video conceived as content, not as a cropped advertisement.
Launch several approaches
Four or five genuinely different ideas, tested in parallel on small budgets.
Scale what lands
Budget concentrates on the creative that produces conversations, not on what is liked internally.
Renew
Regular production planned from the outset, because wear-out is the rule rather than the accident.
Is this the right fit for you?
This is for you if
- Your customers are young and your product shows quickly.
- You can produce vertical video regularly, even simply.
- Your purchase decision is fast and your price point accessible.
This is not for you if
- You sell to businesses on long cycles and technical criteria.
- You can produce only one video and do not intend to renew it.
- Your customers are older or institutional. The reach will be there; the enquiries will not.
What we commit to
We compare on cost per enquiry, not reach
The channel is cheap in attention, which makes it easy to present handsome numbers with no result. We report what matters.
The production rhythm is stated
We say how many pieces of creative a given budget sustains, rather than letting a campaign wear itself out.
The videos belong to you
Sources and edits are yours and get reused on the other platforms.
Is TikTok worth it in Algeria?
The Algerian audience here is young, urban and very active, at a cost of attention markedly below the established platforms. It is a real commercial window for consumer sectors, and it is closing gradually as local advertisers arrive.
The expected register is direct and non-institutional. A video that speaks the way a company addresses a customer is ignored; a video that shows the product in a recognisable setting works, even badly lit.
Finally, conversion happens as elsewhere through messaging or a link to a simple page. A path with too many steps loses most of an audience that arrived from an entertainment context.
Frequently asked questions
Is this serious for a business?
It depends entirely on your customers. For a consumer business targeting under-thirty-fives it is currently the cheapest attention on the market. For an institutional sale, no.
Can we reuse our Instagram videos?
Partly. The vertical format transfers; the tone much less so — what passes as a polished story often reads as too advertising-like here.
How many videos a month?
More than on the other channels. We agree a realistic rhythm with you from the budget, because a campaign that does not renew sees its cost rise mechanically.
Do we need an active account?
It is not essential in order to advertise, but a credible account improves trust and lets the creative be reused organically.
Is paying the platform a problem?
It is the same constraint as the other channels: a card accepted in foreign currency. We settle that during setup.
How long before we know?
Quickly, often in two to three weeks, because volume accumulates fast. It is one of the few channels where judging early is reasonable.

What we have written on this subject
TikTok ads: attention is still cheap here, and it will not last
Followers distribute nothing here: every video is judged alone. A new account can beat an old one on its first try.A hundred thousand views, and your shop is in one commune
The distribution is national and your catchment is not. Here is what to do with the people who watch you and cannot come.Snapchat ads: who they serve, and who they do not
This article is a filter rather than an offer. For most Algerian businesses the honest answer here is no.Other networks: here, the complaint is a video
On these platforms what gets said about you is not text: it is a film, impossible to search by your name and far more convincing.
