Online advertising
Google advertising
The one channel where you buy intent that already exists: someone is searching for exactly what you sell, at the moment they need it.
Google differs from every other channel on one decisive point: it does not create the need, it intercepts it. Somebody typing "emergency plumber Algiers" or "air conditioning repair Oran" does not need convincing that they have a problem. That is why the cost per click is higher here, and the conversion rate too.
That makes the platform excellent for what people actively search for, and useless for what they do not. A repair service, a practice, a spare part, a training course: yes. A product nobody knows the name of: no — that is for social platforms to introduce.
Wasted spend here comes from two places: keywords that are too broad, and missing negative keywords. A campaign on "transport" pays for "public transport", "transport jobs" and "school transport", none of which concern you. The exclusion list is the real work, and it is built from actual search terms.
Finally, the landing page carries more weight here than anywhere else. The click is expensive, the intent is high, and a visitor who lands on a generic home page instead of the exact answer to their search leaves immediately. That is by far the most common reason a Google campaign is judged unprofitable.
What we usually find
- You pay for clicks on searches that have nothing to do with your offer.
- Your ads send everybody to the home page.
- You do not know which keywords produce calls.
- A competitor appears above you on your own name.
What changes
Intent, not attention
You appear at the moment somebody is looking for exactly what you sell, which changes the conversion rate by an order of magnitude.
Wasted spend cut
Negative keywords built from real searches stop the budget that was going to unrelated queries.
A map of demand
The terms your customers actually type become the best editorial basis for your organic search work.
What you get
Real keyword research
What your customers type, in their language, including phrasings nobody in your industry uses.
Negative keywords
The exclusion list, built before launch and extended weekly from actual search terms.
A landing page per intent
Each ad group points at the page that answers the search, not at the home page.
Call tracking
Calls generated are counted, because on many Algerian searches the conversion is a phone call.
Brand protection
A low-cost campaign on your own name, so a competitor does not occupy the first position on your brand.
Complete extensions
Call, address, hours and sitelinks filled in, which increases the ad’s surface at no extra cost.
How we work
Research and volumes
What people actually type in your sector and your area, and what that represents in volume.
Structure and exclusions
Tight ad groups by intent, with a first list of negative keywords in place before launch.
Landing pages
Checking that each intent has a page that answers it, and building the ones that are missing.
Controlled launch
Limited budget, strict match to begin with, broadening only on what converts.
Weekly cleaning
Reading the actual search terms, adding exclusions, stopping keywords that cost without producing.
Is this the right fit for you?
This is for you if
- Your customers actively search for your service when they need it.
- You have, or can create, a page for each main intent.
- Your margin supports a higher cost per click than social platforms.
This is not for you if
- Your product is new and nobody searches for it. Introduce it elsewhere first.
- You only have a home page and do not want to create anything. The click will be expensive and wasted.
- Your basket is very small: intent is expensive, and it has to pay back.
What we commit to
You see the actual searches
You see what people typed to reach you. It is the only honest proof that the spend is targeted.
Exclusions before broadening
We start tight and broaden on data, never the other way around.
The account is in your name
History, keywords and conversions stay with you, and keep their value if you leave.
How do Algerians search on Google?
Searching happens in several languages, often mixed, and sometimes in Latin characters for Arabic words. A campaign built only on French keywords misses a significant share of the volume, and it is a costlier mistake because those queries are less contested.
Many searches are local and end in a call rather than a form. The business listing, call extensions and opening hours therefore matter as much as the ad itself, and a campaign that does not measure calls understates its result.
Finally, advertising competition remains moderate in many sectors, which puts positions within reach of a reasonable budget. That is a real window, and it closes sector by sector as advertisers arrive.
Frequently asked questions
Is Google more expensive than Facebook?
Per click, yes, almost always. Per customer acquired, often not, because the intent is already there. The right comparison is cost per enquiry, not cost per click.
Should we advertise on our own name?
Usually yes, because it is inexpensive and stops a competitor occupying the first position on your brand. We check it case by case rather than making it a rule.
How many keywords do we need?
Fewer than people imagine. A few dozen tight terms with a good exclusion list beat hundreds of broad terms on the same budget.
Does Google Ads replace organic search work?
No, it informs it. The terms that convert in advertising are exactly the ones that deserve an optimised page, and organic keeps working when the campaign stops.
Can you work without a website?
It is very difficult. A Google campaign without a proper landing page pays for expensive intent and sends it nowhere. We will say so rather than launch.
Do you measure phone calls?
Yes, and it is essential here. Without it a local campaign looks like it produces nothing while the phone is ringing.

What we have written on this subject
Google ads: does the intent exist, and in what quantity
This platform does not create demand, it answers a question already typed. Somebody still has to type it.What you are really paying for: the search terms report
You choose keywords; you are billed on real searches. The gap between the two is the whole job, and it is read once a week.
