Refund policy
What is refundable, what is not, how to ask for it, and within what timescale.
We sell services, not goods. The right of withdrawal that applies to distance sales of goods therefore does not apply in the same way, and this page sets out what we actually do.
The principle is simple: what was not done is refunded, what was done is payable, and what was done badly is corrected before it is refunded. The rest of this page only applies that rule to particular cases.
Work not yet started
If you cancel before any work has effectively begun, sums paid are refunded in full within fifteen days.
Effective start means the first action carried out on your behalf: opening an account, scoping, production. We confirm that date to you in writing.
Work in progress
For one-off work stopped at your request, billing is settled pro rata to the work actually done, with supporting detail, and the balance is refunded.
For a monthly retainer, the month begun is payable. Months not begun are not invoiced.
Advertising budget already spent on the platforms is not refundable: it was consumed by the advertising provider, not by us.
Work not as specified
If a deliverable does not match the written scope of the quotation, we correct it at no charge. That is our first obligation, before any question of a refund.
If correction is impossible or fails, the part concerned is refunded. A disagreement about an aesthetic choice approved during the project is not a non-conformity.
How to ask
Write to contact@algeriaagency.com stating the service, the date and the reason. We acknowledge within two working days and answer substantively within fifteen.
Refunds are made by the same means as the original payment, unless otherwise agreed.
What stays yours in every case
Whatever the outcome, deliverables already produced and paid for remain yours: code, source files, documents, accounts opened in your name. A partial refund does not oblige you to return what you have already paid for.
The access you delegated to us is likewise yours: you can revoke it at any time, including while a refund request is being considered, and we do not use it as leverage.
