Online reputation
Other social media reputation management
Instagram, TikTok, forums and groups: what is said where you are not present often weighs more than what is said on your own pages.
What is said about you is not limited to the platforms you have an account on. A TikTok video, a comment under a competitor’s post, or a discussion thread in a group can weigh far more than a structured review on a listing.
These spaces have three particularities. They are hard to monitor, because there is no central listing to consult. They are fast: a post can travel in hours. And they are often closed, therefore invisible from outside until somebody alerts you.
The right approach is therefore not exhaustive monitoring, which is impossible and which we will not sell as though it were. It is watching the places that genuinely matter for your business, backed by a simple route for your customers and your team to report what they see.
When something does appear, the response depends on the place. A comment under a video is handled publicly and briefly; a discussion in a group you are not a member of usually calls for going through a customer rather than arriving in defence of your brand, which almost always makes things worse.
What we usually find
- A video about you circulates and you hear about it three days later.
- You have no account at all on the platform where you are being criticised.
- A competitor leaves comments under your posts.
- Your customers report things to you that you would never have seen.
What changes
You are alerted in time
Watching the places that matter, plus a reporting route that replaces late discovery.
Responses suited to the place
What de-escalates under a video is not what de-escalates in a closed group. The difference is handled explicitly.
Fewer escalations
A measured, quick intervention stops more situations than a late, defensive one.
What you get
Multi-platform watching
The places that matter for your sector, followed as far as tools and access allow.
A reporting route
A simple way for your team and your customers to pass on what they see.
Tailored responses
Written for the place, the tone and the language, because a standard reply is visible and irritating.
Severity assessment
Separating what deserves an answer from what will die on its own if nobody feeds it.
Escalation procedure
Who decides, within what window, and above what threshold you are involved directly.
Periodic report
What appeared, what was handled, and the subjects recurring across platforms.
How we work
Identify the places
Where your sector is actually discussed: platforms, groups, forums, influential accounts.
Set up watching
Regular monitoring of accessible sources, and organised reporting for the rest.
Define the thresholds
What gets a reply, what is left to die, and what triggers an escalation to you.
Respond
An intervention suited to the place, fast and brief, avoiding feeding a discussion that is dying anyway.
Report back
A periodic report and escalation of recurring causes, which belong to service rather than moderation.
Is this the right fit for you?
This is for you if
- Your sector generates public discussion: hospitality, healthcare, schools, motoring, retail.
- You accept that watching is never exhaustive.
- You can involve your team in reporting what they see.
This is not for you if
- You want total surveillance. It does not exist, and we will not sell it.
- You want third-party content removed. That is rarely possible and often counterproductive.
- Nobody can approve a reply quickly when it matters.
What we commit to
We do not claim to see everything
Watching covers what is accessible. Promising exhaustive monitoring of closed groups would be a lie.
We never post under a false identity
No fake account, no fake customer. It is the behaviour that costs the most when it is discovered.
Not replying is a decision
Some discussions die on their own and an intervention revives them. We tell you why we are not replying.
The spaces that matter in Algeria
A large share of local conversation happens in closed groups, often organised by neighbourhood, wilaya or professional community. That is where the most effective recommendations form, and it is also where a complaint circulates without you being able to see it.
Short video has shifted the balance. A post from an unhappy customer can reach more people in a day than your page does in a year, and the effect leaves almost no trace in conventional monitoring tools. Human reporting remains, for that reason, the best sensor.
Finally, a brand intervening in a community space is received badly when it arrives in defence. Going through a satisfied customer who speaks up, or replying factually once and then withdrawing, produces far better results than arguing.
Frequently asked questions
Can you monitor everything?
No, and nobody can. We cover the accessible places and set up human reporting for the rest, which is more honest and often more effective.
Should we reply to everything?
No. Some discussions die on their own, and a reply revives them by giving them fresh visibility. We decide case by case and explain why.
Can a video be taken down?
Rarely, except on a clear breach of platform rules. We report where there are grounds, without promising a result we do not control.
Do we need a presence on a platform to reply there?
Generally yes, at least an identifiable official account. Replying from an anonymous account rebounds every time it is discovered.
How do we involve our team?
Through a very simple route: a number, a group, an address. Your employees and your customers see far more than any monitoring tool.
What about an unhappy influencer?
Treat them as a customer: a fast private reply with a concrete solution. Negative publicity almost always comes from the absence of a reply, not from the original incident.
How to start
Tell us where your sector is discussed, and whether you have already had a visible incident.
We come back with what we can genuinely watch, what we cannot, the reporting route we propose, and the response thresholds.
What we have written on this subject
Other networks: here, the complaint is a video
On these platforms what gets said about you is not text: it is a film, impossible to search by your name and far more convincing. The person who keeps coming back: when it stops being a crisis
An incident ends; somebody who returns every month does not. What changes, and why the crisis method becomes harmful.
