Hosting is not a technical choice, it is a trade-off. A server in Algeria answers your local users faster and leaves you somebody reachable; hosting abroad often costs less and offers more services. Neither is right in the abstract: it depends on your data, your obligations, and who administers it.
An in-house server stays relevant longer than people admit — file sharing, user accounts, line-of-business applications never designed to work over a distance. We say so when it applies, even where recurring hosting would earn us more.
Backup is the one budget line that never justifies itself until it is needed. So we deal with it first, and we verify it by restoring for real. A backup nobody has restored is an assumption, not protection.

A backup never restored is not delivered as finished. The test belongs to the job, not to an optional extra.
Credentials are in your name
Domains, hosting accounts and licences belong to you. We have access to them; we do not hold them.
The hardware margin is stated
You see the purchase price and our margin, and you stay free to buy elsewhere and give us only the installation.
Hosting data in Algeria
Latency to Europe is still noticeable on interactive work, and a link going down is not theoretical: a business whose invoicing tool lives only abroad stops when the connection stops. So we always plan the degraded mode — what has to keep working offline.
Server hardware is imported, and a failed part is waited for in weeks rather than days. That changes the arithmetic: redundancy is worth more here than elsewhere, and a maintenance contract with parts on site often beats a more powerful server.
Finally, for some data the legal question comes before the technical one. We set out the options and their consequences; the choice is yours and we do not dress it up as a technical constraint.
Frequently asked questions
Should we host in Algeria or abroad?
It depends on the nature of the data, on your obligations and on your users. We lay out both columns — cost, latency, reachability, consequences in a dispute — and you decide knowing what you are choosing.
How often should backups run?
The better question is how many hours of work you are willing to lose. The answer sets the frequency, and it is almost always shorter than the interval currently in place.
Is the cloud cheaper than a server?
Not always. Over three years, a depreciated server is often cheaper for a steady load; the cloud wins where load varies or where nobody on your side administers anything. We do the sum on your case.
Can the existing server be kept?
Often yes, with memory, disks and a system upgrade. We look at that before proposing a replacement, because it is frequently enough.
What happens if we leave?
You leave. Credentials are already in your name, the documentation is current, and we export your data in open formats. No exit fee.
Who administers it after installation?
You, us, or both. We train your team on everyday tasks and keep whatever needs an on-call rota. That split is written down rather than implied.
