Branding & design

Name, logo, guidelines, legal protection, interfaces, print, packaging and signage — an identity your team can actually apply, not a handsome PDF.

A visual identity is worthless if nobody can apply it. So we deliver files your team and your printers can actually use, with rules written in plain language: which colours, which typefaces, which minimum sizes, and what not to do.

We also handle the part most agencies leave out: protecting the mark with INAPI. A logo is not your property simply because you paid for it, and the discovery is usually made on the day somebody else starts using it.

The test of an identity is not the presentation, it is the twelfth month. A successful identity is one your social media manager applies without calling you, your printer executes without error, and that holds up on a rubber stamp as well as on a banner. That is what we design, not the board that looks impressive in a meeting.

This is also the area where buying is most emotional. We try to make it arguable: two or three genuinely different directions, reasoned, rather than ten variants of one idea presented so you can choose on feel.

What we usually find

  • Your logo exists in three different versions depending on who sent it.
  • Your printer asks you for the files again with every order.
  • Your posts do not look like each other from one week to the next.
  • You have never registered your mark, and you do not know whether it is free.

What changes

  • An identity that can be applied

Files in the right formats and written rules, so your team and your suppliers can work without you.

  • A mark you can defend

A prior-rights search and then a registration, so the name you are investing in is legally yours.

  • Consistency people notice

The same business on a post, an invoice, a shopfront and a banner — which is half of being recognised at all.

Is this the right fit for you?

This is for you if

  • You are investing long-term in a name and you want it to belong to you.
  • Several people produce your materials and the result is inconsistent.
  • You are ready to decide: an identity is chosen, not voted on.

This is not for you if

  • You want a logo only, cheaply, with no usage rules. An independent designer will serve you perfectly well.
  • Your problem is commercial, not visual. A new identity will not repair an offer that does not sell.
  • You have not settled what you sell yet. Wait: doing it twice costs more than doing it once.

What we commit to

  • Sources are delivered

Always, in open and vector formats. An identity whose sources you do not hold is not really yours.

  • Directions, not variants

Two or three genuinely different proposals, reasoned. Ten versions of one idea is not a choice.

  • Registration explained, not implied

We tell you what protection covers, what it does not, and what it costs — beforehand, not afterwards.

Brand in Algeria, beyond the logo

Registration goes through INAPI, by class of goods and services, and it is territorial: a mark protected elsewhere is not protected here. Many Algerian businesses discover that rule at the moment a third party registers their name, which turns a budget of a few tens of thousands of dinars into a dispute.

Visually, the identity has to work in Arabic as well as in Latin script. A logotype drawn only in Latin characters forces an improvised Arabic version, and improvisation shows. We handle both scripts at design time.

Finally, the reality of local printing counts: available stocks, printers’ tolerances, outdoor materials exposed to sun and dust. Guidelines that ignore this are guidelines nobody will respect on the second print run.

Frequently asked questions

How many logo proposals?

Two or three genuinely different directions, not ten variants of one idea. One direction is then refined to approval.

Do we get the source files?

Yes, always, in open and vector formats. An identity whose sources you do not hold is not really yours.

Do we need a new website after a new identity?

Not necessarily, and we will tell you plainly whether your site can carry the new identity without a rebuild.

Is trademark registration included?

The prior-rights search and the preparation of the file, yes. The official fees are paid by you, directly, and we give you the amount before we start.

Should we change the name or only the logo?

It depends on what your name is preventing. If it cannot be found, cannot be pronounced, or is already taken, changing it is cheaper than a beautiful treatment on an unstable base — and we will say so even if it lengthens the project.

How to start

Send us what you use today: logo, materials, photographs of your shopfront or your packaging. Even in poor quality, that tells us most of what matters.

We come back with a diagnosis: what is salvageable, what is not, whether your name can be registered, and the order in which we would deal with things.
