Facebook advertising

The broadest platform in Algeria and the cheapest to enter — provided the targeting goes beyond "Algeria, 18-65".

Facebook remains, in Algeria, the platform with the broadest and most cross-cutting audience: every age group, every wilaya, and daily use. For most businesses it is the first channel to open, and often the only one they will need in the first year.

The platform’s strength is targeting by behaviour and interest, and that is also what almost nobody uses. A campaign set to "Algeria, 18-65" spends on an audience most of whom will never buy, and the low cost per click hides that waste long enough for it to become a habit.

Facebook and Instagram share one advertising system. Campaigns are run from the same place, and it is often sensible to let delivery split between them rather than force one. We say so because it is true, not to sell two services.

Conversion here almost always ends in Messenger. A campaign that does not instrument messaging measures half its result, and often concludes there was a failure when there was not.

What we usually find

  • Your "boosted" posts mostly reach people who already follow you.
  • Your targeting is "Algeria, 18-65", because nobody proposed better.
  • Your best exchanges happen in messaging, and none of it is counted.
  • You do not know whether a sale came from an ad or from your organic page.

What changes

  • Targeting that excludes

As much attention on who to leave out as on who to reach. That is what lowers cost per enquiry, more than the creative does.

  • Conversations counted

Messenger exchanges are measured and attributed, which finally makes a messaging campaign comparable with a form campaign.

  • A reusable audience

People who interacted become an asset: still targetable later, on your account, at a much lower cost.

What you get

  • A readable account structure

Campaigns separated by real objective — messages, purchases, calls — so the numbers mean something.

  • Targeting and exclusions

Interests, behaviours, areas, and above all the exclusions that stop pointless spend.

  • Custom audiences

Retargeting visitors, existing customers and people who have written in, with different messages.

  • Creative that gets tested

Several visuals and hooks per campaign, compared on data rather than on preferences.

  • Messenger measurement

Conversations are tracked and attributed, including when the sale closes several days later.

  • Reporting in dinars

Cost per conversation, per enquiry and per sale — not a table of reach and engagement.

How we work

  1. Setting up measurement

Tracking on the site and in messaging, verified with real interactions before any spend.

  2. Framing the audience

Who buys from you, where, and above all who never buys — the basis of the exclusions.

  3. Launch and learning

A small set of campaigns, left running long enough to leave the learning phase.

  4. Iteration

One change at a time, measured, including when the hypothesis is wrong.

  5. Building audiences

Accumulated interactions become retargeting audiences, cheaper than cold acquisition.

Is this the right fit for you?

This is for you if

  • You sell to a broad consumer audience at an accessible price point.
  • Your customers discuss before buying, in messaging.
  • You have photographs or video of your products, even simple ones.

This is not for you if

  • You sell to businesses on long cycles and specific job titles. LinkedIn targets that; Facebook does not.
  • Your customers actively search for your service at the moment of need. Google captures that intent better.
  • You have nobody to answer messages. A Facebook campaign with no reply is wasted budget.

What we commit to

  • Your page and account stay yours

We ask for delegated access in Business Manager, never ownership of the page or the ad account.

  • Conversations are measured

We do not present a report that ignores messaging, because it would give a false picture of the channel.

  • Exclusions are documented

You know who we are leaving out and why. Targeting a client cannot argue with is not argued targeting.

What is specific to the Algerian market?

The audience is broad but very unevenly distributed by wilaya, and both cost and behaviour change from one region to another. A uniform national campaign pays the same price for an Algiers audience as for one you do not deliver to, which is the most common leak and the easiest to fix.

The language of the ads matters more than the translation. A message written in correct French does not speak the same way as one in the language your customers actually use — and a deliberate mix often works better than either on its own.

Finally, the sale closes in Messenger, in an exchange that can run for days. The delay between click and sale is therefore longer than the platform attributes by default, and a campaign judged on the standard window looks less profitable than it is.

Frequently asked questions

Should Facebook and Instagram be separated?

Not as a rule. They share an ad system, and letting delivery split often produces a better cost. We separate them when the creative genuinely has to differ, not on principle.

How many visuals do we need?

Enough to compare, not so many that they dilute. Three to five genuinely different proposals beat fifteen variants of one idea.

Is boosting a post enough?

Almost never. It offers neither the targeting, nor the exclusions, nor the measurement of the ads manager, and it usually spends on people who already follow you.

Who answers the messages it generates?

You, or us for routine questions if you want. Anything touching negotiated price, stock or delivery commitments stays with you.

Can my campaigns be rejected?

Yes, the platform applies its own rules, sometimes opaquely. We prepare creative accordingly and handle rejections, but we do not promise they will never happen.

Do I keep my audiences if I change agency?

Yes, as long as the account is in your name — which is exactly why we refuse to run your campaigns on ours.

How to start

Give us read access to your page and Business Manager, and tell us which wilayas you actually serve.

We come back with the campaign structure we would put in place, the exclusions we would apply from the start, and a test budget range.
