Dar Chemâa — « the house of the candle » — is a hotel that does not exist. We imagined it in a 1912 building on the heights of El Biar, facing the bay of Algiers, with sixty rooms, a fine-dining table, a brasserie on the patio, a rooftop tea room, a pastry shop and five salons for weddings and seminars. Every trade in the house has its own screen: the guest who books, the front desk, the head of housekeeping, the maître d’, the chef, the events manager and the general manager.
The screenshots below come from the demonstration itself and are retaken automatically after every change. No night is sold and no dinar moves: the guests, the team, the rates, the administrative references and the payment gateway are invented, and every printed document is marked as a specimen.

Frequently asked questions
Is Dar Chemâa a real hotel?
No. The hotel, its rooms, its tables, its team, its guests, its rates and its administrative references are invented, and the characters are captioned « Fictional character ». The address names only a neighbourhood, and no number can be dialled.
Can I book or pay for anything?
You can go to the end of every path, but no night is sold and no payment reaches a bank: the gateway is a demonstration, and e-mails and messages land in an outbox inside the platform. What you do is wiped every night.
Where do the prices, the availability and the orders come from?
From engines written for the demonstration: rates by season and plan with the tourist tax, table availability by service, a kitchen that sends tickets to each station and a Ramadan calendar for iftar. Every amount is indicative.
Can a hotel or a restaurant get the same platform?
Yes, built for it: its rooms, its menus, its salons, its rates, its team and its identity. We do not sell this demonstration as it stands; it shows what we know how to build.
Does it all have to come at once?
No. You can start with the site and booking, or with the table and QR ordering, then add the front desk, housekeeping, the kitchen, events or management. A first useful version is built in a few weeks.
