The shop, the frames and the prices are invented. The order flow is not: it stops on a province the workshop cannot reach, strikes a sold-out line through instead of hiding it, and marks every order number as a demonstration.
Optique Gouraya is a Béjaïa optician that does not exist. We invented the shop, its twenty-four frames and its prices to show what an Algerian optician can sell online: glasses tried on a face, lenses made to a prescription, and an order delivered and paid for the way it is in Algeria.
The screenshots below come from the demonstration itself and are retaken automatically after every change. Nothing is charged or shipped: the addresses are demonstration addresses you choose, every order number is marked as one, and each visit starts from scratch.

Is Optique Gouraya a real shop?
No. The optician, its frames, its prices and its customer are invented. Béjaïa and Mount Gouraya are real, and the try-on faces are generated models with no name and no testimonial.
Can I order glasses?
You can go as far as the confirmation and the tracking, but nothing is made, nothing is shipped and no payment takes place. The order number says so.
What happens to my face if I use the measurement?
Nothing leaves your device: the measurement and the mirror run in the browser, and nothing is stored. The try-on itself needs neither a camera nor an account.
Can my optician’s shop have the same store?
Yes, built for it: its frames, its lenses, its delivery prices and its workshop. We do not resell this demonstration; we build yours.
