Électro Tafna: the console that links a till to an online store

An invented appliance shop in Tlemcen whose till and online store never agree, and the integration console that carries one line from the first to the second while you watch.

Électro Tafna

A till and a shop that never quite agree.

A fictional business: nothing you run here reaches a real shop.

Électro Tafna is an appliance shop that does not exist. We invented it in Tlemcen to show what an Algerian retailer can have when its till does not talk to its online store: a visible pipe between the two, where you can see what is read, what leaves the country, and what happens when a remote service stops answering.

The screenshots below come from the demonstration itself and are retaken automatically after every change. Nothing you run in it reaches a real shop: the articles, prices and numbers on screen are invented, no customer is recorded and nothing is sold.

One till line

What leaves the country

Outage, hold, handover

On a phone

Trying it in a few minutes

  1. Pick a simulated provider and run

Click “Provider B”, then “Run one record”, and watch the six stages light up through to the record written into the store.

  2. Take a field out of what is sent

Untick the customer’s telephone in the table of what leaves the country and run again: the value leaves the payload, the output stays the same.

  3. Cut the provider

Press “Cut the provider”, run twice, then restore it and read the log: nothing was lost.

  4. Go on to the fourth line

Run again until the reference with no label, and see the console hold it rather than invent one.

Frequently asked questions

Is Électro Tafna a real shop?

No. The shop, its articles, its prices and its customers are invented for the demonstration. Tlemcen is a real town, and the till formats imitate the ones really met in Algerian retail.

Is the AI model real?

One of the three providers really calls a model, and only with the fields you leave ticked. The other two are simulated and the screen says so. The rest of the pipe, the reading, cleaning, checking and writing, is our own code.

Is anything sold or recorded?

No. Nothing you run reaches a real shop or a real online store, the telephone numbers on screen are masked and cannot be called, and nothing you do is kept.

Can my shop have the same integration?

Yes, built for it: its till, its export, its store and the fields it agrees to send out. We do not resell this console; we build the integration of your own systems.

Does it need a model hosted abroad?

Not necessarily. The demonstration shows both cases, a remote service and a local model, and what changes between them. The choice depends on your data and your constraints, and it is one of the questions we look at with you before anything is built.

How to start

Open the console and send a till line through: three minutes is enough to see it read, cleaned, filtered and written, then queued when the provider is cut.

If your till, your stock and your store do not agree, write to us: we look together at where your data comes from and at what should be linked first.
