Imprimerie Timgad: a print shop’s internal software, screen by screen

The management software of an invented print shop in Batna: sixteen screens, three seats and one job file that runs from the first message to the settled invoice, with the rules it refuses to break.

Imprimerie Timgad

A whole workshop, and the rule that stops the press.

The customers, the jobs and the invoices are invented, and the five refusals you will run into are precisely what the demonstration exists to show.

Imprimerie Timgad is a print shop that does not exist. We invented its customers, its jobs and its invoices to show what bespoke internal software brings a business in this trade: one job file followed from request to payment, and refusals that come from the shop’s own rules rather than from a product bought off the shelf.

The screenshots below come from the demonstration itself and are retaken automatically after every change. Nothing you do in it is saved, no payment is asked for and no data is collected: customer numbers are masked and every visit starts from the same day.

Trying it in a few minutes

  1. Take the front desk seat

Open the dashboard, then a quote, and change the quantity to watch the price follow the number of sheets.

  2. Move to the shop floor

Change seat, open a job whose proof is not signed and read why the press stays locked.

  3. Sit at management

Run the takeover of the old file, read the rules and look at what is yours in the export.

Frequently asked questions

Is Imprimerie Timgad a real print shop?

No. The print shop, its customers, its jobs and its invoices are invented. Batna is a real town, and the software you use is real: every button really does what it says, on fictional data.

Can I place a real order?

No. Nothing you do is saved or invoiced, and no personal data is asked for. The quotes, proofs and invoices exist only for the length of your visit.

Can my print shop have the same software?

Yes, built for it: its presses, its papers, its pricing, its seats and its own rules. We do not resell this demonstration; we build yours from interviews in your workshop.

What if my trade is not printing?

The demonstration shows a method more than a trade: start from the rules you already apply and write them into the tool. A workshop, a depot or a design office is built the same way.

What happens to my data if we stop?

It stays yours. The “What is yours” screen shows it: the full export, the data model in plain words and the written rules exist from the first version.

How to start

Open the demonstration and move a job from one seat to the next: ten minutes is enough to meet its five refusals.

If you run a workshop, write to us: we look together at how your jobs move today and at what a tool made for you should do first.
