FAQ
Answers to the questions we are asked
Cannot find your answer? Write to reception or ask Hana, our online assistant.
Appointments
How do I book an appointment?
Online, at any time: choose a specialty or a doctor, then a slot. You receive a confirmation and a reminder the day before. Reception can also book for you on site.
Can I book for a relative?
Yes. From your patient space you can manage appointments for your children or a parent linked to your account.
How do I cancel or move an appointment?
The link in your confirmation lets you move or cancel it in two clicks. Please do so as early as you can: the freed slot is offered to patients on the waiting list.
I do not know which specialist to see.
The orientation tool asks a few questions and suggests the right specialty and how soon to be seen. It does not diagnose, and if a warning sign appears it sends you to emergencies.
Cover and payment
How much will I pay?
Our indicative prices are published, and the estimator works out what is left for you to pay depending on your fund and your complementary plan. For an operation or a birth, ask for a quote.
Does CNAS reimburse my care?
Partly: the fund reimburses a percentage of its reference tariff, which is far below a private clinic’s prices. Show your Chifa card and we prepare the claim form.
My employer has an agreement with you. What difference does it make?
With third-party payment your employer pays its share directly: you pay only your own share at reception, on presenting your proof of cover.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Cash, CIB card, Edahabia card and online payment. A deposit is asked at admission for a planned hospital stay.
Results
When will I get my test results?
Most the same day, some within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. They are published in your patient space once the biologist has validated them.
How do I read my results?
Each value is shown with its reference range and an explanation of what the test measures. What it means for you is for your doctor to say: book an appointment to talk it over.
Can I share my results with another doctor?
Yes. From your space you can share a result or an image with a doctor, and withdraw that access whenever you like.
I have no account. How do I get a result?
A link and a one-time code are given to you when the sample is taken. They open that one result only.
Emergencies
Is the emergency department open at night?
Yes, twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year, with its own entrance and a drop-off point.
When should I call for help rather than come in?
Chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, weakness on one side of the body, heavy bleeding: call the emergency services at once. The numbers are on the emergency page.
How long will I wait?
Patients are seen in order of urgency, not of arrival. A nurse assesses every patient as soon as they arrive.
Maternity
When should I register to give birth at the clinic?
As early as you can, and by the seventh month at the latest, by completing the online pre-admission.
Can the father stay?
Yes, from 8 am to 9 pm, and overnight in a suite, where there is a companion bed.
Do you offer epidurals?
An anaesthetist is on site day and night. The epidural is discussed during follow-up, at the anaesthesia consultation.
Teleconsultation
How does a teleconsultation work?
At your appointment time you join the room from your phone or computer. A camera and microphone check is offered beforehand.
Will I get a prescription?
If the doctor thinks it useful, the prescription is placed in your patient space with a verification code for the pharmacy.
Can everything be done by video?
No. Follow-up, reading results or renewing a treatment suit it well; a first clinical examination usually happens in person.
Privacy
Who can see my medical record?
The doctors who look after you, and the nursing team during a hospital stay. Reception sees administrative information only.
Can I find out who has opened my record?
Yes. Every access is logged, and you can see the access log in your patient space.
How is my data protected?
Under Algerian law on the protection of personal data, your health data is treated as sensitive: access is limited, logged and justified.
