The clinic

A clinic designed for calm.

Sakina means serenity. That is what we wanted to offer our patients: a bright place, clear explanations and a team that takes its time.

Our story

A simple idea, kept every day

The clinic began with a few Algiers doctors who wanted consultations, tests and hospital stays under one roof, so that patients would no longer shuttle between several addresses.

We started with a handful of specialties; the laboratory, imaging, the operating block and maternity followed. At each step we asked the same question: what makes a visit simpler and calmer?

The answer often lies in details: an appointment kept on time, a result explained, a readable invoice, a room where you can sleep. Those details are what we work on.

Quality and hygiene

Practices you can see

We would rather describe what we do than display labels.

  • Hand hygiene

Hand gel at every door, and hands cleaned before and after every patient.

  • Checks read aloud

In theatre, the team reads the safety checklist before anaesthesia, before the incision and before leaving the room.

  • Identity confirmed

Name and date of birth confirmed at every sample, test and treatment, and a wristband for every inpatient.

  • Traceable sterilisation

Every sterilised instrument carries a batch number that can be traced from cleaning to patient.

  • Protected data

Every look at a medical record is logged, and patients can see who has opened theirs.

  • Your opinion counts

A short questionnaire after each visit. Management reads the comments every week.
