A villa in Chéraga renovated from the roof terrace to the heating

Before the works

A 1990s house bought as it stood: floors that changed from room to room, original bathrooms, heating by gas stoves and a roof terrace leaking over a bedroom. Only after photographs exist for this project.

What was done

The project was split into packages running in parallel: the roof terrace’s waterproofing first, to make the house watertight, then each floor’s services, then the floors and bathrooms, and the kitchen last.

Central heating went in with a wall-hung boiler and aluminium radiators, the multilayer pipework run under the new floors. The 60 × 120 porcelain covers the ground floor, the ceramic parquet the bedrooms upstairs.

Both bathrooms took wall-hung toilets and thermostatic shower columns, the interior doors were replaced with oak doors and the windows with aluminium sliders.
