The company

A line between 69 wilayas, drawn every night.

Khatt delivers online sellers’ parcels, carries companies’ goods and keeps stock for those who would rather not own a warehouse. One network, one tracking, one promise: every parcel on the right line.

The control tower at night: Lina before a wall of screens showing a glowing map (fictional character).

Where the line comes from

A demonstration history, like the company: Khatt does not exist, but every step is one the trade knows.

  1. 2019

    Three scooters in Bab Ezzouar

Deliveries for Instagram sellers, paid at the door, with a notebook for the cash and a phone for the addresses.

  2. 2021

    The East–West night line

A hub at Rouiba, lines to Oran and Constantine, stop-desks in the northern wilaya capitals.

  3. 2023

    The South and freight

The Ouargla hub for every southern line, the first semi-trailers and a fulfilment warehouse.

  4. 2025

    Sixty-nine wilayas

The eleven new wilayas each get their agency, their price and their round from the day they are created.

Five hubs, sixty-nine agencies

Each wilaya is served by the hub nearest by road; every southern line runs through Ouargla.

Route optimisation

A courier’s day, before and after the optimiser

Sixty doors between Bab Ezzouar and El Harrach, four scooters leaving Rouiba, two zones, booked slots and express parcels. The same engine plans our control tower’s routes every evening.

Compared with the scan order

−65.3%

  • 400 km saved
  • 21 h 15 min less time on the road
  • 11.2 L less petrolthat is 504 DZD a day for four scooters
  • 0 late, against 7

Compared with a nearest-parcel dispatcher

−7.5%

  • 17 km saved
  • 8 h 10 min less time on the road
  • 0.6 L less petrolthat is 27 DZD a day for four scooters
  • 0 late, against 4

Against the scan order the gain is dramatic; against a good dispatcher it is modest on kilometres, and what it buys is the end of late stops and out-of-zone doors.

The fleet

Night blue, an orange band that turns up at a right angle at the rear: every vehicle carries the line. Maintained in our hubs, followed by the control tower, driven by trained and rested drivers.

The fleet lined up at dawn: scooter, van, 3.5 t and 10 t trucks, semi-trailer and reefer, night blue with an orange band.

  • 30Vans
  • 163.5 t trucks

Safety and personal data

On the road

  • A 45 min break every 4 h 30 min of driving, planned into the route
  • A high-visibility vest and a helmet for every courier
  • No phone in hand while riding: routes are read when stopped
  • During Ramadan, deliveries pause around iftar

Law 18-07 on personal data

  • We collect only what a delivery needs: a name, a commune, a landmark, a phone number
  • Numbers are masked from couriers and sellers; calls go through the platform
  • Couriers’ positions are visible only while they are on shift
  • Rights of access, correction and objection, from the tracking link or the customer space
