Our head office is in Chéraga, and our agents sell there every week. What they see of the neighbourhood, its prices and its buyers.
01 Room to live, without leaving Algiers
Families come for larger homes than in the city centre, residences with parking and streets where you walk to the shops. The sea and the main western roads are close.
02 The homes that go fast
Recent F3s and F4s with a lift and a parking space sell within weeks when the price is right. Older flats without a lift need more patience — or a sharper price.
03 Schools, the first question
Even before the price, buyers ask where the schools are. The neighbourhood has many, public and private; our neighbourhood pages put them on the plan.
04 The commute, the real hidden cost
At rush hour, reaching the centre or the east of Algiers takes time. A buyer working in the west gains a lot; one working in the east should compare with other neighbourhoods.
05 What the prices say
The price per m² stays below Hydra or Ben Aknoun but above Ouled Fayet. The gap between a well-kept building and a neglected one has widened: the state of the building counts in a valuation.
