An app unveiled on one evening to the press, to distributors and live on social media: a reveal that had to work in the room and on a phone screen alike.

01 · The brief
Present, then let them try
Two hundred and twenty guests — journalists, distributors, content creators — a twenty-minute presentation, then eight stations where everyone gets their hands on the app over drinks.

02 · The challenge
A reveal that works on screen
What impresses a room can vanish on a phone. It needed a strong image in a wide shot that still reads vertically, and a live stream that does not drop when three hundred phones join the same network.

03 · The design
Black, then the product’s colour
An all-black stage, a screen that lights only for the reveal, the app’s colour carried into the lighting of the whole room, and stations lit like shop windows.

04 · Logistics
A dedicated network, three control desks
A wireless network kept for the stream, a sound desk, a vision desk and a social desk, interviews scheduled backstage and distributors seen in afternoon sessions.

05 · On the night
Twenty minutes, then eight queues
The presentation keeps to its twenty minutes, the screen lights on the agreed word, and all eight stations have a queue before the applause ends. The pictures are out on social media within the hour.
