01 · The brief
One night, a full house
The promoter had the artist, the date and the ticketing; he needed everything else: the stage, the sound, the light, the security and someone to hold the timings to the last note.

02 · The challenge
Sea wind and a curfew
A sea wind that carries the sound into town, humidity on the desks, a single access road to unload in an hour, and a by-law that cuts everything at midnight sharp.

03 · The design
A sixteen-metre stage
A sixteen-metre stage, a sound system aimed to hold against the wind and spare the flats, screens either side for the back rows, and amber light that answers the sunset.

04 · Logistics
Four entrances, sixty guards
Four entrances scanned offline with Tarab’s door app, sixty security guards, a first-aid post, a dressing room for the artist and eighty-five technicians on the crew sheet.

05 · On the night
The last chorus at 11.52 pm
Doors open at 7.30 pm, the house is full by 9, the crowd sings every chorus, and the last song ends at 11.52 — eight minutes before the curfew.
