Covered, in colour: stepping out of black without standing out
Black is easy, and it wears you down. The Nour line is built on three families of tones that agree with one another, with the hijab as the piece that ties them together.

Many of our Nour customers tell us the same thing: they wear black because it is safe, and they tire of it. Safe, because it goes with everything and draws no attention. Tiring, because after a year it feels like wearing the same outfit every day. There is a road between head-to-toe black and colour that turns heads: muted tones, chosen to agree.
Three families, not thirty colours
Each season the Nour line comes in three families. Warm neutrals first: ivory, sand, camel, which replace black without losing its discretion. Then the greens, sage and emerald, which carry the collection’s colour. And the darks, ink and black, which remain the base for the evening and for work.
The open crepe abaya comes in all three families; it is the piece that changes the mood without changing the silhouette: Open crepe abaya. For those who prefer it closed, the hidden-button version keeps a clean line without a single visible button: Closed abaya with hidden buttons.
The rule of two tones
A good covered outfit holds to two tones from one family, plus a third as a small touch. A long sand linen tunic over wide ivory trousers, say, with a camel hijab: Long linen tunic and Wide crepe trousers. The long knitted cardigan acts as the third layer when evening comes, adding texture rather than colour: Long knit cardigan.
The tunic and wide-trouser set is the simplest way to apply the rule: both pieces are the same tone, and all that is left is to choose the hijab: Tunic and wide-trouser set.
The hijab as the linking piece
The hijab is the only piece that frames the face, so it decides whether a colour suits you. We make it in three fabrics for three uses. Jersey holds by itself, without a pin, for long days: Jersey hijab. Crepe falls straighter and suits work and celebrations: Crepe hijab. Modal is the coolest, for summer: Modal hijab.
A tip from our boutique advisors: try the hijab’s colour near your face, in daylight, before choosing the outfit around it. It is the opposite of what we usually do, and it is what works.
For occasions
For celebrations, the tone-on-tone embroidered tunic proves that embroidery does not need gold to be rich. The motif is the same colour as the cloth: you see it up close, and it does not shout from across the room: Tone-on-tone embroidered tunic.
