The house
A house that sews in Algiers
IBRA means “needle”. We chose the name of the tool rather than the name of a person, because what matters here happens under the presser foot: the pattern, the cut, the stitch.

Why a needle
In our logo the needle replaces the stem of the I, and the thread leaving its eye underlines the word. In Arabic it is the alif of إبرة that becomes the needle. That is the one flourish we allow ourselves: the rest of the house is made to be worn, not looked at.
Made in Algeria, and said precisely
“Made in Algeria” means nothing until you say where. Here is where every IBRA garment goes before it reaches you.

The founder

What we promise, and what we do not
Every piece has a tech pack
Metres, trims, sewing minutes, workshop: we know what each garment costs to make, and that is what sets its price.
Sizes measured on real bodies
Our size guides are graded on our models from 1.62 m to 1.84 m, from a 36 to a 44, and corrected every season by the returns.
No endless “capsule collections”
Four seasons a year, not one more. What we do not sell is marked down in the boutiques, never destroyed.
