Laying guide
- Store bars on blocks, off the mud; light surface rust is not a defect.
- The reinforcement plan comes from the engineer: diameters, spacings and laps.
- Keep the cover with concrete spacers so the steel never touches the formwork.
- Tie the crossings with annealed wire before pouring.
