Laying guide
- Line out the first course and lay it on a perfectly level mortar bed.
- Wet the bricks in hot weather so they do not drink the mortar.
- Stagger the joints course to course and check the plumb every three courses.
- A load-bearing wall, a tie beam or a lintel is sized by an engineer, never at the counter.
