Demo — fictional dataNakhla is a fictional school. Pupils, teachers, grades and payments are invented; nothing is charged, no message is sent, and what you do here is erased within 24 hours.

Want this platform for your school?

Algeria Agency designs and builds your school’s site, admissions and platform — under your name, in your colours, with your data. Leave us a way to reach you.

This is the only form in the demonstration that sends a real message: to Algeria Agency, and nobody else.

Admissions

When do admissions for 2027–2028 open?

They are open. The application is made online; the school then checks the documents, sets an entrance assessment (from Reception up) and a family interview. A full level still takes applications, onto the waiting list.

Which documents are needed?

A birth certificate extract, two photos, report cards for this year and last, a certificate of schooling or of leaving, the vaccination record and the parent’s identity document.

Does my child have to sit an entrance assessment?

From Reception up, yes: an hour of maths and languages at their level, to know how to welcome them — not to rank them. In Nursery, a simple play session with a teacher is enough.

What happens if the level we want is full?

The application is accepted onto the waiting list, and its position shows in the online tracker. A seat that frees up is offered in list order, with priority for siblings of current pupils.

Fees and payments

How are school fees paid?

In three instalments (40% in September, 30% in January, 30% in April), by CIB or Edahabia card in the parents’ space, by transfer or at the cash desk. Paid in one go before term starts, tuition takes 3% off. The amounts are on the fees page.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes, on tuition only: 10% for the second child and 15% from the third, counted from the eldest. The cantine, transport and activities are not discounted.

What does annual tuition cover?

National-programme lessons and the enrichments (languages, coding, arts, sport), digital textbooks and access to the platform’s four spaces. The cantine, transport, after-school care and paid clubs are options, each priced on the fees page.

Are there discounts other than for siblings?

Two, granted by the direction: 30% for staff children and a 20% merit bursary. They apply to tuition only and do not stack with the sibling discount: the larger applies.

Teaching

Can I meet the teachers?

Yes: every teacher opens meeting slots, at school or by video, bookable in the parents’ space. Two parent-teacher evenings are held after each term.

Do you follow the national programme?

Yes, in full: the Ministry of National Education’s, with its hours, coefficients and exams — end of primary, BEM and Bac. Nakhla adds hours of languages, hands-on science, coding and the arts, never instead of the programme.

How many pupils are there in a class?

At most 18 in pre-school, with two adults, and at most 24 from primary to lycée. In L2 and L3 the streams often have far fewer.

How does the school prepare pupils for the BEM and the Bac?

With mock exams marked like the real ones, small-group revision sessions and tracking of averages that alerts the form tutor before the class council. BEM preparation starts in 3AM, Bac preparation from L2.

Languages

Which languages are taught?

The national curriculum, taught in Arabic, with French and English from the first year of primary, and Tamazight. The lycée’s Foreign languages stream adds Spanish.

My child speaks little French. Is that a problem?

No. National-programme lessons are in Arabic, and French is reinforced step by step. A pupil who joins mid-way follows, if needed, two catch-up hours a week for a term.

Are Tamazight and Spanish compulsory?

Tamazight is taught from primary to middle school, as the national programme provides. Spanish is the third language of the Foreign languages stream at lycée, and is taught only in that stream.

Transport

Which districts does the bus serve?

Three routes: the Heights (Hydra, El Biar, Ben Aknoun), the East (Kouba, Bir Mourad Raïs, Dely Brahim) and the West (Saïd Hamdine, Chéraga, Ouled Fayet). An escort is on board and the journey is followed live in the parents’ space.

Can we follow the bus live?

Yes, in the parents’ space: where the minibus is, the expected time at your stop, and a notification when your child gets on and when they reach school.

What if nobody is waiting for my child at the stop?

The child does not get off. The escort informs the family, and the child comes back to school and is looked after until an authorised adult arrives.

Cantine and after-school care

How does the cantine work?

Meals are cooked on site, Sunday to Thursday, and the week’s menu is published in the parents’ space with its allergens. Allergies declared in the pupil’s file are flagged to the kitchen.

Can my child stay after 4:30 pm?

Yes: after-school care takes pre-school and primary pupils until 6 pm, with a snack and homework help. Clubs also meet in the late afternoon.

Do the menus take allergies into account?

Yes. An allergy declared in the pupil’s file appears on the service list, and the kitchen prepares a suitable tray. The week’s menus are posted on Thursdays in the parents’ space.

Safety and health

Who may collect my child?

The adults you have authorised in your space, and nobody else. A new adult must be added by a parent before they come; their identity document is checked at the gate.

What happens if my child is unwell?

The nurse looks after the child and the family is told the same day in the parents’ space. In an emergency, the protocol posted on every floor applies and a parent is called at once.

Are photos of my child published?

Only with your permission, given or withdrawn at any time in the parents’ space. Without it, your child appears in no photo the school publishes.

Platform and app

How do I report an absence?

In the parents’ space, under Absences: you are told the same day by SMS and attach the justification in one click. After three unexcused absences, the education adviser gets in touch.

What is in the parents’ space?

Marks as they come, report cards, absences and their notes, messages with teachers, appointments, payments and receipts, the cantine, the bus and trip permissions to sign.

Does the AI tutor do the homework for the pupil?

No. It asks questions and gives hints so the pupil finds the answer themselves. Its conversations are visible to the school, and it only discusses programme subjects.

Do we need to install an app?

No. The platform works in the browser on a phone or a computer, in Arabic, French and English. It can be added to the home screen like an app.
