Hiring
How we choose a teacher
- 1
A trial lesson, in front of a real class
Every candidate teaches for forty-five minutes, observed by the director of studies and a teacher of the subject. We hire a way of teaching, not a CV.
- 2
Command of the subject and its language
A university degree in the subject taught, and the ease to teach it in the national programme’s language as well as the class’s second language.
- 3
A checked record and a signed charter
No adult works with pupils without a criminal-record extract and without signing the school’s child-protection charter.
Come and see the school one morning.
A visit takes an hour: classrooms in the middle of lessons, the cantine, the courtyard at break, and time to ask the direction every question you have.
visits run Sunday to Thursday
